Random shout outs

ok, I am surprise people are still dropping by and reading this, so let me just have a few random shout outs.

Happy birthday to:
1) Jess on the 1st Aug. I would have sent an email/left a note on your blog, but I don't know the new address! Hope the day went perfect!
2) Victorine on the 10th Aug. Poor girl was still working at 8pm when I called
3) Addy on the 26th Aug. I know this is early but in case I don't have time to do another post.

My brother has been back for 2 weeks now, think he's leaving in another 2 weeks time. The past 2 weeks have just been going around Singapore for the local food just to satisfy him. My mum's so happy she practically rushes home everyday after work to see her baby son... awahh. It's ok, I'm rarely at home anyway. At least she has someone to put her energy/attention to.

Hung and I celebrated our 1-year anniversary on the 9th Aug! Yes yes, before you actually scratch your head, yes, it's been a year and yes, we've decided that we found the one. It's good he's French Vietnames - everyone who knows me knows I have an exotic taste. Exotic not erotic hor. Whatever they say about French being romantic is bull.

We celebrated with me working all day at the office till 8+. By the time I acutally got out of the office and walked all the way to Allison Hotel for a good japanese dinner, it was 9.30pm. And what luck, the restaurant had actually shifted! The last time (and first time, but who's counting) that I was there was in 2002, but still! We troted over to CHIJMES to look for some food, and finally settled at the sun & moon cafe (I think that's the name) for some jap food. Didn't feel very romantic/celebratory at all. But I guess it was my fault after all, I had to work on National Day!

The next day I made up by having dinner with him at Le Papillon at Red Dot traffic building at Maxwell. (I get all these wonderful ideas on where to eat from Luyi's blog - so don't stop writing yea!) The food was interesting, the entres especially. His concept of musking really strong tasting food with fruits was shown through every single entre. You can read more and look at pictures from herehttp://www.chubbyhubby.net/2006/06/le-papillon.html

Work is starting to suck again when my team is down one man short with one working out of the KL office for 6 weeks. damn it. I am a sad panda. I can so enticipate late nights and getting screamed out jsut cos I'm the second in charge... but but but... I don't want!!!

A lazy Saturday to do what/anything I want. Except for that massage that I wanted. Urgh, I should really start planning in advance.

Oh oh, on a side note, I bought 3 toto tickets. Guess I have to take chances to get out of my misery right?!! The prize this week is $5.5m. If I don't turn out for work on Tuesday, it's our little secret ok. Ice-cream for everyone!
